Anna Eshoo, United States Representative
"I'm inspired by the fact that you've taken an active interest in public policy at such a young age and I hope you will continue to pursue this interest far into the future. The success of our democracy depends on the informed. educated, and active participation of individuals like you."
Michelle Yerkin,
Chargé 'Affaires, U.S. State Department
"It was inspiring to chat with Safe Squad Mobile App LLC founder Mercedes Molly (https:// mercedesmolloy.com), who is using her talents in innovation and activism to help people access resources to promote safety. Around the world, it is often young women like Mercedes, who lead the charge for human rights and basic security of all citizens, including the women and girls who are often the most vulnerable to human rights abuses. I applaud Mercedes for her leadership and her commitment to helping others."
Jim Reed, Former Mayor and City Councilman
"In my capacity as a three-term Councilmember and Mayor of the City of Scotts Valley, and also as Chief of Staff for San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo, I come across a large number of people engaged in civic life. I have met very few young people who have the work ethic, concern for others, leadership, integrity and public-spiritedness that Mercedes Molloy has. I have worked with her on fundraising events for people In need and other community initiatives and during these, she invariably demonstrates diplomacy alone with an ability to get things done that is all too rare in adults, and even more so for somebody of her age."
